Steve Sorensen, PE

Steve Sorensen is the Director of Engineering for the Auburn Hills office and has over 20 years of civil engineering experience. As Director, Steve is responsible for collaborating with other directors to ensure the integration of services for all disciplines offered by PEA Group. He also manages key metrics such as workload, chargeability, revenue, and employee engagement.

Mr. Sorensen developed a diversified knowledge base working as both a consultant and as the Director of Engineering for a Metro Detroit area developer. This skillset enables him to communicate effectively with key individuals representing not only the PEA Group design team but owners, contractors, municipal entities, and reviewers, to name a few.  His project experience includes managing educational, industrial, commercial, healthcare, and mixed-use developments.
