Let’s Celebrate! Paint Creek Trail Connector Is Open.

1 min read

The Paint Creek Cider Mill serves as a regional attraction – and yet there was no safe connection between the Cider Mill and the popular Paint Creek Trail, which is separated from the Cider Mill by Paint Creek. Oakland Township Safety Paths and Trails Committee celebrated the opening of a much-needed trail connection between the Paint Creek Trail and the Paint Creek Cider Mill.

The new pathway designed by PEA will give visitors a safe option to access the Cider Mill from the trail on a pathway that passes through an easement generously donated by Flagstar Bank. Matt Hocking, PE, and Jeff Smith, PLA, LEED AP, celebrated the opening of the new pathway with Oakland Township committee members. PEA is proud to have been part of this important project.
