Meet PEA Group’s Newest Wetland Professional In Training (WPIT) – Magan Rugenstein

Please join us in congratulating PEA Group’s new Wetland Professional in Training (WPIT), Magan Rugenstein, Ecological Technician. In October, Magan was awarded a certificate from the Society of Wetland Scientists (SWS) in recognition of her efforts and achievement. The WPIT is a critical step for young professionals in obtaining their Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) credentials. The WPIT certification acknowledges that the individual has met many educational and work experience requirements. Additionally, it accounts for several highly qualified references from within the PWS industry acknowledging Magan’s competency, skills, and growth as a wetland scientist.

PEA Group supports the training and promotion of professional development for the betterment of the individual, the company, and our clients. Following the completion of all requirements and obtaining a PWS certificate, Magan will be PEA Group’s first internally trained PWS. Along with her recent WPIT certificate, Magan was awarded a Storm Water Management certificate, as well. We congratulate Magan on both her recent achievements!
