PEA Group Surveying Team: Leading the Way in Professional Excellence and Leadership at MSPS
PEA Group takes immense pride in the outstanding achievements of our surveying team, whose dedication and leadership have been recognized at the highest levels of the Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors (MSPS).
Brett Hollandsworth recently completed his second term as President of MSPS, following a distinguished tenure on the Board of Directors where he served in various capacities. Brett’s unwavering commitment to the profession has been evident since 2016 when he first joined the Board. His journey includes significant roles such as Secretary, Treasurer, and first Vice President, culminating in his presidency in 2022. Even as he transitions to the role of Past President, Brett’s influence and expertise continue to shape the future of MSPS.
Similarly, Chris Beland has been a driving force within MSPS, leveraging his multifaceted skills to serve the organization diligently. While he’s currently serving as the first Vice President, Chris has chaired the Convention and Education Committee for the past six years. While chair of this committee Chris has been instrumental in orchestrating the MSPS Annual Meeting, a pivotal event that fosters education and networking opportunities for professionals and technicians across Michigan and neighboring states. Additionally, over the course of the last three years Chris has led efforts to develop an independent Survey Technician Development Program. This program is anchored by the Surveyor’s Boot Camp, a one-week hands on training and introduction for those new to the industry. His journey on the MSPS Board began in 2018, and he has since held pivotal positions such as Secretary and Treasurer before assuming his current role. Chris’s exemplary dedication earned him the prestigious President’s Award in 2021 and 2024, a testament to his outstanding contributions to MSPS.
Stacey Pollock, another invaluable member of our surveying team, has been a steadfast advocate for the Young Surveyors Network (YSN) within MSPS. Over the past two years, Stacey has played a pivotal role in hosting YSN events during MSPS conferences, fostering collaboration with organizations like the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and promoting surveying at national conferences such as the Annual Conference of the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS). Stacey’s passion for advancing the profession and nurturing the next generation of surveyors is truly commendable.
As a company, PEA Group celebrates the achievements of Brett, Chris, Stacey, and our entire surveying team. Their dedication, expertise, and leadership not only elevate our firm but also enrich the broader surveying community. We are proud to have such remarkable individuals representing PEA Group and making significant contributions to the field of surveying.
