PEA Group Acquires Texas-Based Firm Brewer Engineering and Expands to Texas
PEA Group, a Michigan-based leader in site design, has completed a merger with Texas-based civil engineering firm, Brewer Engineering. Houston will become the first Texas location, and fifth overall, for PEA Group. This recent acquisition is part of PEA Group’s effort to expand its services regionally.
Founded in 1984 by David Brewer, Brewer Engineering is a civil engineering firm focused mainly on site and land development. Projects completed by Brewer Engineering include River Place Country Club, Evelyn’s Park, Sesquicentennial Park, Tony Marron Park, AD Players Theater, Houston METRO Transit Center at the Medical Center, Monarch School, Episcopal High School, the Veteran’s Administration, and SNC-Lavalin, Sealy, Texas. Additionally, Brewer Engineering has partnered with well-known clients such as New Hope Housing, ExxonMobil, Mustang CAT, PM Realty Group, Amegy Bank, JP Morgan Chase, and Wells Fargo.
A graduate of the University of Michigan, David Brewer, is a professional engineer and registered professional land surveyor with over 40 years of experience. Before establishing Brewer Engineering, his experience warranted him the title of Vice President and Manager of Civil Engineering at CRSS, a Houston-based architect and engineering firm, where he worked for over ten years. Mr. Brewer’s expertise does not go unrecognized by PEA Group, and he will continue to serve as the main point of operations in Texas.
