PEA Group Introduces The 1947 Scholarship Program

2 min read

To commemorate our founding year and 75th anniversary, PEA Group is excited to announce we have established our 1947 Scholarship. PEA Group believes having the proper education and resources are central to success. This scholarship program was founded to promote this belief and further support the advancement and education of PEA Group interns.

Recipients of the scholarship will be selected based on several criteria items, including showing exemplary drive and initiative throughout the duration of the 12-week internship. Scholarship recipients will be selected by a designated team of leaders who will serve as the selection committee. The scholarship includes a one-time award of $1,947. All summer interns are eligible for the scholarship.

Why Intern with PEA Group?

An internship with PEA Group will help you build skills and develop the core knowledge needed to launch your career. As an intern, you are an integral part of our team. Coffee runs? Not here.

Our goal is to help you become a full-time team member by providing hands-on experience working on real projects. Throughout the 12 weeks, you will work alongside team members of all levels, gaining valuable insight into our industry while being exposed to the many aspects of your service discipline.

We’ve had many students intern with PEA Group for one or more summers before becoming full-time team members. PEA Group doesn’t just want you to succeed for the summer; we want to help you build the foundation to become a future leader in the industry.

Right now, we are looking for students to participate in our paid summer internship program throughout our Michigan and Texas offices.

About Our Rotational Program

In addition to our discipline-focused internship opportunities, PEA Group offers a 12-week rotational internship program in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The rotational program allows students to intern within three departments during the summer, spending roughly four weeks within each department. Time will be split between office and field tasks, including land surveying, geotechnical engineering, AutoCAD orientation, and design tasks.

We take into consideration whether or not an intern already has had previous experience and can learn in other areas to further promote their development. This opportunity provides interns with the chance to fully immerse themselves and learn PEA Group’s integrated approach to site design.
