PEA Group Kicks-Off Year Long 75th Celebration

This year, 2022, marks PEA Group’s 75th anniversary. Founded in 1947 by the Walker Family in Detroit, we started as an engineering and land surveying company. We were later incorporated as Professional Engineering Associates in 1961. Our first branch office opened in 1997, and today we are proud to have six offices throughout Michigan and in Texas. Through the years, PEA Group has grown from a small mom-and-pop shop to now employing over 160 employees across Michigan and Texas. Whether we are adding new service lines, opening new offices, or rebranding our company, we’ve made sure to always keep one thing consistent – putting our employees and clients first while keeping our eyes on the horizon, continuously pushing forward.

To celebrate this milestone in our company’s history, we have set several initiatives to achieve this year, including:

  • Selecting 12 charities to receive $1,000 in donations. Each charity was nominated by our employees.
  • Selecting three interns to receive $1,947 in scholarship money
  • Completing 1,000 hours of volunteering as a company
  • 12 months of employee prize opportunities

Our company’s mission is to empower people to pursue their passion through thoughtful design which enhances communities and provides a path for professional growth. Today, PEA Group continues to pursue our mission and looks forward to many more years of continued growth, serving our clients, and enhancing the communities we live and work in.
