PEA Group gathered for our annual meeting, uniting all eight of our offices across Michigan and Texas. The meeting focused on continued success, which includes a strategic acquisition, career advancements, and overall growth. Discussions centered on our strategic goals spanning people, clients, markets, and operations. Below are some key highlights from the meeting!
KEY HIGHLIGHTS
- The acquisition of ASTI Environmental expanded PEA Group’s capabilities to include environmental services, reinforcing our commitment to delivering comprehensive solutions. It was a successful first year with ASTI, and we look forward to celebrating their 40th anniversary throughout the year!
- PEA Group was acknowledged by Crain’s as one of the Best Places to Work for the Sixth consecutive year in 2024. This continued recognition underscores our commitment to fostering a workplace culture that values employees’ contributions, well-being, and professional growth.
- As an employee-owned company, we proudly welcomed three new shareholders, emphasizing our focus on professional development and recognizing our valued employees. With this addition, our shareholder group has grown to 31 associates.
- Over the past year, we prioritized enhancing staff training and leadership development at all levels. Our commitment to cultivating a culture of growth and professional development led to 62 promotions, five of which were new Department Manager roles. Additionally, two professional licenses and six certifications were earned by our team members.
- PEA Group enhanced safety efforts by improving the Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) by 18%, finalizing the revised Safety Manual, completing nearly 1,000 safety training hours with 102 employees participating, and celebrating safety week in 2024.
- The introduction of the “Project of the Year” nomination brought an exciting element to the meeting, allowing employees to nominate their top project of 2024. After the voting process, the Oakland Hills Country Club Redevelopment was revealed the winner, securing 24% of the vote.
