PEA Named a 2019 ‘Cool Place to Work’ By Crain’s Detroit Business
Crain’s Detroit Business has officially released its 2019 list of Cool Places to Work on Monday, August 5, and we are excited to announce that PEA was among the 100 companies selected! This is PEA’s first appearance on Crain’s annual installment which recognizes Michigan’s coolest workplaces.

About the Program
Crain’s Cool Places to Work in Michigan program is designed to recognize outstanding places of employment in Michigan based on a variety of factors including employee satisfaction and employee benefits and corporate policies/practices. The list of winners consists of 100 companies in three size categories, ranging from small, medium, and large. PEA, along with companies from across the state entered the two-part evaluation process. The first part was a survey to evaluate each company’s benefits, policies, best practices, and demographics. This part of the process was worth 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure engagement and satisfaction. This part of the process was worth 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process and also analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.
