McLaren Health Care engaged PEA Group to develop a large healing garden as part of the McLaren Health Care Village. The garden was designed to provide a serene and tranquil environment for visitors. The garden features two fountains, numerous pathways, sculptures, four boardwalks, a small creek crossing the wetlands, a labyrinth, several sitting areas, a social space, an area for quiet contemplation, and lush gardens with thousands of ornamental trees, shrubs, and perennials.
To ensure environmental sustainability, the garden has been equipped with various eco-friendly features, including native plantings, natural drainage systems, and an innovative irrigation system that minimizes water usage. This healing garden is the largest in Michigan and a testament to McLaren Health Care’s dedication to promoting health and wellness.
