Sakura Novi

Novi, Michigan

Sakura Novi is a distinctive mixed-use development in downtown Novi, Michigan. This Asian-inspired village, the first of its kind in the state, is designed to celebrate the rich cultures of Asia through diverse dining, entertainment, and retail experiences. Developed by Robertson Brothers Homes, Sakura Novi will offer residents unique townhome apartments featuring private entrances, attached garages, and spacious layouts.

Sakura Novi is designed to be a cultural and communal hub in Oakland County, with its walkable spaces, authentic architecture, and immersive environments reflecting the vibrant energy of Asian cities like Osaka, Seoul, and Hong Kong. PEA Group has taken a lead role in designing the development’s landscape architecture, creating park-like amenities that will draw residents and visitors alike. The project’s centerpiece is a stunning Asian-themed garden, featuring a sensory garden for children, a floating boardwalk, and a terraced plaza that enhances the tranquil, yet dynamic atmosphere of the site.

The residential amenity spaces are designed with unique features, such as fire pits and wooden shade structures inspired by traditional Asian architectural elements, like the iconic Torii gate. Lining the streets,
Sakura Trees will bring a breathtaking display of cherry blossoms each spring, reminiscent of the celebrated festivals in Japan.
