Jimmy Ruedisueli | Civil Engineering | Auburn Hills, MI (Welcome back!)

My name is Jimmy Ruedisueli, and I am a fifth year civil engineering student at Michigan Tech. I chose civil engineering because I like knowing how the world works around me, and I like to create things. This is my third internship at PEA Group, and I have really liked how included I have felt here. This summer I hope to learn more skills that will help me develop my career. In my free time I like to weight lift and go fishing to enjoy the outdoors.

John Owens | Civil Engineering | Auburn Hills, MI

Hello! My name is John Owens, and I’m a third year civil engineering student at Michigan Tech. I am pursuing civil engineering because I find the design of infrastructure very interesting, since we use it every day, and there are many opportunities. This is my first civil engineering internship. I was interested in PEA Group because of the supportive culture and the emphasis on mentorship, which I think is really important. I’m looking forward to seeing lots of different things out in the field and further developing my understanding of design. A fun fact about me is that I worked as a backpacking guide out in New Mexico.

Kendall Danko | Civil Engineering | Auburn Hills, MI

My name is Kendall Danko, and I just finished my sophomore year at Michigan Tech studying civil engineering. This is my first summer interning at PEA Group. I am excited to get the opportunity to be within the rotation and gain a variety of experiences while working and learning. A fun fact about myself is that I enjoy crocheting in my free time!

Michael Austermann | Civil Engineering | Auburn Hills, MI

My name is Michael, and I am a sophomore at the University of Detroit Mercy studying civil engineering. I am pursuing a degree in civil engineering because I have worked in the industry for 10 years and want to learn more about the work I’ve done and wish to become a civil engineer; able to make engineering decisions. I enjoy learning physics and math, and problem-solving strategies. This is my first time being an intern and working for PEA Group. In my free time I like to go for hikes and play disc golf.
