New Hope Housing Avenue J Opens in Houston, Texas
New Hope Housing’s newest community, Avenue J, has officially opened. Located in the heart of Houston’s historic East End, it features 100 units of one- and two-bedroom apartment homes and an array of amenities and services to help residents thrive. The New Hope Housing team, Mayor Silvester Turner, Kirksey Architecture, PEA Group, and other team members joined the celebration.
Avenue J is a transit-oriented development, providing easy access to job opportunities, as well as a grocery store, library, pharmacy, public parks, schools, and hiking and biking trails. Avenue J is New Hope Housing’s 10th community.

Houston, Texas, has made incredible strides in their goal of zero homelessness in the city. Over the past 10 years, more than 25,000 people have been helped through housing and support services like New Hope Housing. New Hope Housing has become a champion for those in need in the Houston area.
