Andrew Nord | Landscape Architecture | Brighton, MI

Hello! My name is Andrew and I’m a senior at Michigan State University pursuing my bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture and my master’s degree in environmental design. I’m passionate about the facilitation of community development through public projects such as parks, plazas, and other outdoor spaces and I am incredibly excited to be able to get firsthand experience designing such projects. This is my third internship and my second summer at PEA Group but my first time working in the landscape architecture department here. The PEA Group landscape architecture department has a rich history of incredible projects using innovative design to truly deliver an incredible final product to their clients and I’m excited to learn everything I can on how to emulate that level of skill in my own future work.

Brandon Massey | Civil Engineering | Auburn Hills, MI

My name is Brandon. I’m currently a junior at Purdue University studying civil engineering with a concentration in environmental engineering. I was drawn to this field through a lifelong curiosity of the built environment, and how we interact with it extensively daily. The aspect of this field that I enjoy the most is that it allows me to have a direct hand in building strong, cohesive, and beautiful communities that people can be proud to live, work, and thrive in. Although this is not my first internship, it is my first with PEA Group and I am very excited to work with the team here.

Joey Pierzynski | Civil Engineering | Brighton, MI

My name is Joey, and I am going into my senior year at Michigan Technological University studying environmental engineering. I chose to study environmental engineering because I truly believe the field has a significant impact on the world in creating a more sustainable infrastructure for the future. This is my second summer internship, but my first with PEA Group and I’m grateful for the opportunity. I am looking forward to gaining a greater understanding of the industry and the critical details that go into designing meaningful infrastructure.

Liv Robins | Civil Engineering | Brighton, MI

I’m Liv, and I am an incoming junior at Michigan State University studying civil engineering. I decided on this major because I have a passion for creativity and design as well as the mathematical aspects that come along with it. The thing I enjoy most about my major is seeing things in my everyday life that I have learned about through classes or internship experiences and understanding how and why it works. I was initially attracted to PEA Group by their friendly engineers and staff as well as the organization of their internship experience which stood out among the rest. I am thrilled to have this experience and look forward to becoming more fluent in the world of design and AutoCAD.
